In fact, according to the HKYFS 2023 Youth Voices Count Survey:
- 33.1% 9th-12th graders report feeling anxiety in the past year “always or almost always”
- 17.2% reported feeling sad or hopeless so much that it stopped them from usual activities for 2 or more weeks in a row.
Join HKYFS and RSD17 for a free screening of this National Award-Winning Film. Screenagers Next Chapter: Addressing Mental Health in the Digital Age, we follow physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston as she discovers solutions for improved adolescent stress, anxiety, and depression in the digital age.
Following the film a panel of RSD17 leaders and HKYFS and HK Coalition professionals will lead a discussion about how we can work together as families and community to keep supporting HK youth.
