Higganum Farmers Market

Volunteers are needed for a variety of jobs. Some may involve helping vendors load or unload, some are greeters at the entrance, and others can help with weekly activities. Special events throughout the season would require more help than others. Other jobs may include assisting the market manager in organizing vendors as they arrive & helping with keeping things flowing. Market is on Wednesdays.

Gate Volunteer At The Haddam Neck Fair

Four hour shifts. Volunteers will receive a meal ticket after their 4 hours. If they work an 8 hour day they will receive two meal tickets. Plus they will get admission to the fair when they finish their shift. Work includes collecting admission payments, stamping hands, directing guests, being very friendly and welcoming :-)

Killingworth Town Picnic @ Deer Lake Outdoor Center

We will be hosting the Killingworth Town Picnic again this year and will need many volunteers to make it a success. Jobs will include, parking attendants, grounds crew, set up/take down, cleaning crew, vendor coordinators, game facilitators, boat rentals, etc. Will be outdoors and active.
