HKYFS is partnering with Haddam Senior Services and the KW Committee on Aging to assist local senior citizens. Neighbors Helping Neighbors aims to match families with elderly neighbors who could benefit from companionship and support, further strengthening community bonds.

Join us for a Mental Health Awareness Month program hosted by HK Youth and Family Services (HKYFS), open to families of all ages. This flexible program takes place over a convenient three-hour period on a weekend of your choice, emphasizing the importance of giving back to others. By participating, families not only contribute to the community but also promote mental health awareness among younger generations by demonstrating the positive impact of volunteerism.

As a special bonus, families who participate will receive dinner from food trucks at our upcoming Summer Solstice event on June 20th at Parmelee Farms. This event exemplifies our commitment to fostering a sense of community and supporting neighbors in need.
