Girls With A Purpose

Girls with a Purpose is a before-school group designed to create an opportunity for positive peer connections in a strengths-based and creative environment where it is safe to be who you are in all your you-ness! Activities will include arts and crafts, journaling, music, and games.

Girls with a Purpose will reach girls at a critical stage, strengthening their confidence and self-esteem at a time when society begins to tell them they can’t. When girls and young women voice their ideas and opinions in a safe environment, it strengthens their confidence and encourages them to express themselves more fully and critically think through their behavior and choices.

Wednesdays, January 8- March 19, (no program February 5th)

Before school 8:00 AM – 8:45 AM at HKIS

For 4th and 5th graders.
