The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for the abuse of medications.
Clear out your medicine cabinet and dispose of all unused, unwanted and expired medications safely with no questions asked on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 10:00am to 2:00pm, at Nutmeg Pharmacy in Higganum, and at Killingworth Family Pharmacy. This national event is sponsored locally by Haddam-Killingworth Youth and Family Services in partnership with the Connecticut State Police, Nutmeg Pharmacy and Killingworth Family Pharmacy.
