A Community Giveback Summer: Haddam Social Services

HKYFS invites underclassmen in high school from the HK community to join us for volunteer hours by participating in our organized opportunities available this summer!
This is a chance to register for a planned service event to not only earn hours but make a difference in the community where you live! This program is for emerging 9th and 10th grade students in the HK community only.

For our July 29th community service site, we will:
-Meet at HKYFS at 9am and take a bus to Haddam Social Services.
-We will volunteer our time until Noon.
-We will be picked up and brought back to the HKYFS office and eat lunch.
-Our indoor afternoon volunteer activity will be creating and crafting cards for the organization Cardz for Kidz, which sends them to Ronald McDonald Houses throughout the United States.

Time: 9am to 3pm

Volunteer location: Haddam Social Services, 11 Jail Hill Rd., Haddam, CT 06438

*Please note that water and snacks will be provided BUT lunch will not be. Please ensure that your child comes prepared with lunch.*
