A Community Giveback Summer at HKYFS

HKYFS invites underclassmen in high school from the HK community to join us for volunteer hours by participating in our organized opportunities available this summer! This is a chance to register for planned service events to not only earn hours but make a difference in the community where you live! Space is limited so make sure to register today!

Who: Emerging 9th and 10th graders in the HK community
Date: Tuesday, July 1, 2025
Time: 9am to 3pm
Where: HKYFS, 91 Little City Rd. Higganum CT 06441
Work we will be doing: Volunteer tasks will include property clean up, weeding, and planting. We will break for lunch and then continue our work inside creating hygiene kits for a local shelter.

*Please note that water and snacks will be provided BUT lunch will not be.*
