Looking for students to help at our Annual Christmas Fair for community service hours. To help set up for Turkey Dinner(luncheon), help service food, desserts, clean up. Assistance also may be needed for the Church fair- bake table, crafts. times may vary- fair starts at 10-2. If a student can come for a few hours to get community service hours that would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance for assistance.
Our 4th annual BooFest celebrates trick or treating at Beechwood. Volunteers will help man the hot chocolate and cookie booth, help with street patrols, answer questions and interact with trick or treaters and their families. Warm clothing required, this is an outdoor event - costumes optional!.
We are so excited for Pumpkin Run! We need lots of help running kid friendly activities and helping along the 5K Course. Free Tshirt!
Let's lend a helping hand! We'll gather together, receive instructions, and then divide into volunteer teams to help our Killingworth neighbors with simple outdoor and household tasks like raking leaves, light yard word and clean up, small odd jobs and household help, or visiting with neighbors and offering a friendly smile. Join us for Fall Fest! We're looking for volunteers who want to dress up (and spook...a little!), pass out candy, play fun Halloween games with local kiddos, and more! This is a great way to earn hours and have a lot of fun for Halloween!

Every volunteer helps create a fun and successful game day experience for our players, families, and community!
Come volunteer at our annual Fall Fest! Setup begins at 8:00 a.m., and the event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with cleanup occurring as soon as the event concludes. Volunteers may choose how long they'd like to help out for during this event. Most volunteers will be assigned to craft or food stations. Volunteers who are willing to help with face painting for kids would be greatly appreciated!
Some of the Little Free Libraries are in need of minor repair and painting.
The Killingworth Library needs help selling some items on eBay. This volunteer opportunity would involve researching the value of items, creating and managing eBay listings, and packaging items for shipping. The library will provide some direction, but the ideal volunteer is one with prior experience using eBay or other online auction sites.
The Haddam Sustainability Committee is hosting a Repair Cafe, an event where a group of volunteer "fixers" join together to offer their services. Student volunteers are needed for set up on Friday, April 10th, and assistance is also welcome during the event on Saturday, April 11th from 1pm-4pm.
